Chapter Chapter 5 in Reliability is a New Science, 2017, pp 59-67 from Springer
Abstract:
Abstract The present chapter means to discuss the interruptions of the system operations due to a random factor (RF). The first group of failure determinants consists of continuous mechanisms; RFs make the second group. The illustration of the present argument mirrors the modern literature and does not put forward original solutions in terms of mathematics. This chapter handles random factors in the traditional way and is more concise than the previous chapter for this reason.
