Chapter Chapter 18 in Integral Methods in Science and Engineering, Volume 1, 2017, pp 205-214 from Springer
Abstract:
Abstract The present contribution reports on a new methodology to solve flow problems with complex boundary geometries by an equivalent plane parallel problem. We revisit conformal transformation between curvilinear coordinate systems but that are local asymptotically flat. The transformed problem for the advection-diffusion equation and the Navier-Stokes equation are presented and a numerical solution for an advection-diffusion problem is shown.
