Chapter Chapter 9 in Quantum Theory, Groups and Representations, 2017, pp 125-138 from Springer

Abstract: Abstract If one has two independent quantum systems, with state spaces $$\mathcal H_1$$ and $$\mathcal H_2$$ , the combined quantum system has a description that exploits the mathematical notion of a “tensor product,” with the combined state space the tensor product $$\mathcal H_1 \otimes \mathcal H_2$$ .
