Chapter Chapter 4 in Fundamentals of Applied Multidimensional Scaling for Educational and Psychological Research, 2018, pp 49-57 from Springer

Abstract: Abstract Concepts of MDS model fit are discussed, along with various fit indices. Interpretation of MDS solutions is explained; particularly I highlight the point that MDS is a visual tool using a two-dimensional space and interpretation should focus on clustering patterns of the MDS solution.
