Chapter Chapter 9 in Fundamentals of Applied Multidimensional Scaling for Educational and Psychological Research, 2018, pp 121-132 from Springer
Abstract:
Abstract Comparing and testing similarities among a set of configurations are explained. Ideas of comparing configuration similarities can be extended for hypothesis testing. An example of real data is provided to illustrate how to evaluate configuration similarities using Procrustes analysis, including PINDIS model. Hypothesis testing using the PINDIS model is also presented.
