Abstract:
Abstract In this contribution, we give an overview of the mathematical and numerical modeling of the heart function. In particular, we provide a brief introduction of the different functions and then we focus on the challenging problem of reconstructing the computational domains from medical images. Finally, we show an example of numerical results aiming at highlighting the electro-mechanical function of the heart.
