A chapter in Imagine Math 6, 2018, pp 89-99 from Springer
Abstract:
Abstract In the article the author analyses some musical works by Debussy, Messiaen, Ligeti and Bach. Each of them is connected with several mathematical principles; each of them is characterized by an inner circularity; each of them is very different from the others in language, style and period. However, maybe their hidden similarities are more interesting than their differences.
