Abstract: Zusammenfassung Der Betrachtung von Zufallsvariablen und ihrer Wahrscheinlichkeitsverteilungen kommt in der Stochastik eine besondere Bedeutung zu. Eine Zufallsvariable ist eine zufällig variierende Größe und fungiert als ein natürliches und/oder suggestives Konstrukt zur Beschreibung von zufälligen Ereignissen.
