Abstract: Zusammenfassung Die Schätztheorie ist das Teilgebiet der Induktiven Statistik, das die theoretischen Grundlagen und die mathematisch-statistischen Verfahren zur Schätzung von unbekannten Verteilungen und/oder ihrer Parameter auf der Basis von Stichproben zum Gegenstand hat. Dabei unterscheidet man zwischen Punkt- und Intervallschätzungen.
