Abstract:
Abstract Traditional models of manufacturing resource can’t cover all the manufacturing information, including resource information, process information and product information, which cannot make enterprise function in a whole. From the experience of the Grid Computing and the summary of manufacturing feature, the paper introduces a model named GPPR, integrating three information parts of the manufacturing resources based on OGSA (Grid-based Product Process Resource). An example is presented to prove the feasibility and the possibility of wide spread of GPPR model by using globus 3.0 is to create the prototype system of GPPR. Make an interface model including all the manufacturing information.
