Abstract:
Abstract The intrusion tolerant software system is a novel concept to high performance grid computing, and it can provide an intended server capability and deal with the impacts caused by the intruder exploiting the inherent security vulnerabilities. In the paper, we describe and analyze the hypothesis about intrusion tolerance software system to high performance grid computing. Then an intrusion tolerance software technology and architectures is presented by detecting the return address or node of each module and adding “HoneyCode” nonfunctional code that is similar to “Honeypot” to confuse intruder, so that the grid security and performance are enhanced.
