A chapter in Numerical Mathematics and Advanced Applications, 2006, pp 1175-1183 from Springer
Abstract:
Abstract We present two different one-dimensional models for transport of solutes in soils. We numerically solve the mathematical problems arising from these models using stabilization techniques, maintaining a low computational cost guaranteing the stability of the schemes for any regimen to assure a right parameter adjustment. The numerical experiments are based on real data from laboratory experiments.
