The High Performance Asymptotic Method in Numerical Simulation
D. Konaté
A chapter in Mathematical Modeling, Simulation, Visualization and e-Learning, 2008, pp 33-50 from Springer
Abstract:
Abstract Numerical simulation of complex phenomena involving large or multiples scales requires the use of methods that are highly precise and fast. Classical numerical methods consist in replacing a given problem, thanks to discretization, with a chain of algebraic equations to be solved.
