Abstract:
Abstract DSD is a marketing channel which is used by manufacturers to sell and to distribute goods directly to retail stores bypassing any intermediate logistics system. The paper positions DSD within the framework of marketing channels and shows how relationships between the members of the marketing channels are impacted by DSD.
