Chapter 21 in Handbook Utility Management, 2008, pp 349-360 from Springer
Abstract:
Abstract One of the tasks of a utility company is to manage the risks that arise from the gaps between the obligation to make future deliveries of energy and the company’s assets. The goal of this chapter is to provide insights into these gaps and to discuss some risk management concepts and instruments that can be used to actively manage these risks.
