Abstract:
Abstract By implementing a new strategy based on costs and price leadership in the traditional business segments, and by expanding the municipal utility network and investing in selected growth segments, MVV Energie AG has set the cornerstones to remain a successful player despite the saturated, challenging markets and the ongoing consolidation. The adaptation of the company structure and the realization of internal implementation programs as well as the tightrope walk between the various interests of different shareholders, employees and - last but not least - the customers are the biggest challenges that decision makers in regional and municipal utilities have to overcome.
