Abstract:
Summary The aim towards optimal utilization of business opportunities and manufacturing resources increases the requirements on both production planning and scheduling. One of the main goals is to maintain a high level of exibility to permit a fast response to changed situations in the market. In this paper, a scheduling problem encountered in the exible manufacturing of mobile terminals is discussed.
