Abstract: Abstract Biomedical research has traditionally used two types of experimental techniques—in vivo experiments performed on living organisms and in vitro studies performed on tissue samples. A third technique called in silico experiments is emerging. As the name suggests, these experiments are performed on a computer, that is, in silicon. In this paper we will present a project that studies the heart using in silico experiments.
