Abstract In Chap. 1, the editors, Sharda Nandram and Margot Borden, present the trends in management and the role spirituality currently has. It elaborates on the definition of spirituality in the context of management and describes the application of the resource-based view on the concept of spirituality to offer the readers a new management paradigm.
