Abstract:
Abstract Simulation is one of the major devices in an operations researcher’s toolkit, and there is little doubt that it is among the most flexible and commonly used techniques. In the words of Budnick et al. (1988), “Simulation is primarily concerned with experimentally predicting the behavior of a real system for the purpose of designing the system or modifying behavior.”
