Abstract:
Abstract Based on the previous chapter it is possible to lay down the general outlines for the generic HPPI process (the construction) besides those guidelines discussed already in Sect. 1.7. These additional outlines cover the following cornerstones: The maximum output is an 100% process improvement yield and an 100% total improvement yield despite the business and current performance level of the targeted value chain The real-life process improvement yield and total improvement yield can be defined at any given point of time allowing a company, for example, to define, improve and sustain the yield levels according to the potential and current ambition levels of the processes and the produced output (product and/or services) The output is produced according to the specified performance requirements (recall Sects. 1.8 and 2.3) The outcome is an improvement of the focus process(es) in terms of time, quality and costs that increases the overall competitive state of the target company and network.
