Abstract More than three decades ago, innovations in information and communication technology (ICT), such as the Internet, have started an unprecedented success story slashing traditionally high costs of connecting and coordinating people and information. Along with this, we have seen some radical challenges to established concepts of how to organize innovation and value creation.
