Chapter Chapter 9 in Networks in Aviation, 2010, pp 119-125 from Springer
Abstract:
Abstract In this chapter, we introduce the benchmarking of networks and answer the following questions: How well do networks perform in comparison with others? What characteristics can—and cannot—be compared? What quantitative key performance indicators (KPIs) are appropriate? The various categories of benchmark network characteristics are examined and complemented by selected examples of specific KPIs.
