Abstract:
Abstract Strategic management has the central objective of providing for long term company success. The task of strategic management can be brokendown into strategic planning, the implementation of strategies, and strategic control. Strategic planning forms the basis for the other two tasks and so it is the production of successful strategies which is of central importance in strategic management.
