The Structure of Morphisms
Steven Dale Cutkosky
A chapter in Algebra, Arithmetic and Geometry with Applications, 2004, pp 273-281 from Springer
Abstract:
Abstract Suppose that $$ f:X \to Y $$ is an algebraic mapping of algebraic manifolds (a dominant morphism of nonsingular varieties over an algebraically closed field of characteristic 0). Assume that f is dominant, so that the image of f is dense in Y. What can we say about the structure of f?
