Abstract:
Summary In this article we consider goal-oriented a posteriori error estimation for the symmetric interior penalty discontinuous Galerkin finite element discretization of the compressible Navier-Stokes equations. Numerical experiments demonstrating the accuracy of the error estimation and the performance of the adaptive mesh refinement strategy will be presented.
