Chapter Chapter 18 in A Royal Road to Algebraic Geometry, 2012, pp 307-319 from Springer

Abstract: Abstract In this chapter we first list some basic facts on divisors, restricting the attention to quasi projective schemes over a field for simplicity. The sheaf of quotients which plays the role of the function field for varieties is introduced, as well as the group of Cartier divisors . The basic concepts related to them are given, as is relation to the group of Weil divisors. Then follows a section on Chow homology and Chow cohomology, leading up to bivariant theories.
