Abstract:
Abstract This book contains many different kinds of views concerning practice-based innovation and various issues related to it. It touches upon many ‘levels’ in the discussion of innovation. This was a deliberate choice; it reflects our view and experience that innovation policies and activities suffer from a lack of bridging of structural holes and of utilisation of distances. Innovation is still often treated as something ‘noble’, but without bridging various structural holes between innovation researchers, practitioners, and authorities, inter alia, true understanding concerning means, challenges, and opportunities related to innovation is lacking. This is especially important in the context of practice-based innovation. In the Introduction (Chapter 1)
