Chapter 4 in Transcending Tradition, 2012, pp 134-157 from Springer
Abstract:
Abstract This section of the exhibition displays a selection of classic monographs, influential textbooks, and in some cases the collected works and papers of German-Jewish scholars. The list of authors and works covers a wide variety of mathematical fields and their applications. It completely disproves anti-Semitic stereotypes that had claimed the existence of a typical form of “Jewish mathematics”, remote from geometrical intuition or from applications.
