Abstract: Zusammanfasung Im März 1965 starb Gheorghiu-Dej. Der neue Parteichef Nicolae Ceau¸sescu war sein Schüler im Doftana, dem Gefängnis, in dem sie während der Kriegsjahre eingesperrt waren. Ceau¸sescu war – gelinde gesagt – eine weniger eindrucksvolle Gestalt als Gheorghiu-Dej, weniger intelligent, aber ebenso schlau und vielleicht noch ehrgeiziger.
