Chapter Chapter 10 in Inference for Diffusion Processes, 2013, pp 371-373 from Springer
Abstract:
Abstract Stochastic modelling and statistical estimation are important tools for the understanding of complex processes in life sciences. This book motivated the use of diffusion processes for both purposes and contributed to their applicability in practice. This chapter summarises the achievements of this book and points out directions for future work.
