Chapter Chapter 11 in Chinese Entrepreneurship, 2012, pp 111-123 from Springer
Abstract:
Abstract The institution of family is the core of Chinese society. This is a fact that has long been realized by the Chinese who hold the family bonds as sacred and honor them accordingly. The traditional Chinese family has a hierarchical order with the man as the head of the family, the bearer of the family name, who is burdened with the responsibility for the family finance. This responsibility grants him complete authority and the final decision power in all affairs of the family.
