Abstract:
Abstract This study seeks to examine the relationship between hotel career management and employees’ career competencies. The data was collected in main tourist cities in China with target sample of hotel managers working in four or five star hotels. The proposed model was tested by structural equation modeling. The findings indicated that there were positive relationships between hotel career management and three forms of career competences. The results of this study may provide useful guidance for attracting and retaining the qualified staff in China.
