Abstract: Abstract Literature studies have shown the powerful radiation effect of the economic circle formed by the railway station on the surrounding economy, but there is a lack of quantitative research, most of them are basically conceptual qualitative research. In the development, thorough analysis of external structure and internal function of the railway station is quite necessary. We should study the law of development of the economic circle of China’s railway station combining with the characteristics of railway station. In this paper, six railway station, such as the Beijing Railway Station and Beijing West Railway Station, Shanghai Station, Shanghai Hongqiao Station, Guangzhou Railway Station, Shenzhen station and the surrounding restaurants, hotels, supermarkets, business buildings and other commercial facilities were in the field research, through statistical analysis we found there was a significant difference in the business model between railway stations. Apart from Shanghai Hongqiao station, restaurant is in the distance of 250–450 m from the railway station, hotel is in the distance of 300–500 m from the railway station, supermarket is in the distance of 100–300 m from the railway station, business building is in the distance of 400–550 m from the railway station The study is helpful to the layout of China’s railway station.
