Abstract:
Abstract In 1996, Beijing West Railway Station opened and operated officially. In accordance with the original design, the large train transportation hub would work fluently. However, the passengers and vehicles have been suffering the pain of congestion. In this paper, we simulate the traffic flow of Beijing West Railway Station to find out the causes of traffic congestion and provide some optimization proposals through the VISSIM software simulation.
