Abstract:
Abstract Scatterplots and correlation coefficients are defined for a bivariate sample, where two variables are measured times, each time at the same object or at comparable objects. When considering a whole set of variables, a matrix of pairwise correlations is established. Based on such a correlation matrix, the multivariate procedure of principal components can introduce a structure into the set of variables.
