Chapter 11 in Successful Decision-Making, 2013, pp 127-146 from Springer
Abstract:
Abstract Chapter 11 provides an example of how the general heuristic decision-making procedure is applied to solve a complex problem. In this example, a producer of vehicles is confronted with a fierce reduction of his annual profit. The problem analysis shows different causes. Options to improve the situation are developed and assessed before the decision is taken.
