Abstract: Abstract The desire for luxury goods has been released in China due to its open economic environment and international lifestyle. The same trend exists in India—another emerging market of Oriental culture, which cannot be underestimated. This paper focuses on the market circumstances and conducts comparative analysis on political and legal element, economic, social-cultural factors and technological environment with the help of the PEST model. The findings lie in identifying similarities and differences between prospects of both markets from internal and external perspectives in this paper, which lays foundation for branding strategies in China and India.
