Abstract: Abstract In this paper, direct Control-Chart of substandard is put forward. In the Control-Chart, the usual way of deciding the control limits according to sample datum has been eliminated and the shortage of small-scale single-piece production datum has been overcome. It doesn’t need sample datum as its basis. Its purpose is not to keep the process stable but to control the occurrence of substandard products, which is more suitable for process quality control of small-scale production. The structure, control rules, statistical principles identifying, capacity, functions, characteristics application of the direct Control-Chart are discussed.
