Chapter Chapter 89 in Proceedings of 2012 3rd International Asia Conference on Industrial Engineering and Management Innovation (IEMI2012), 2013, pp 895-906 from Springer

Abstract: Abstract This paper evaluates and compares the operational performance of four major private senior high schools in Taiwan. The measure of operational performance is based on the relationship between educational aspect and financial aspect. The education aspect evaluation indicators focus on educational resource, outlay resource, human resource, and school reputation. The financial aspect evaluation indicators focus on benefits of productivity, management capability, solvency, and cash flow. Grey relation analysis (GRA) is used to select the representative indicators, and the TOPSIS method is used for the outranking of PCB firms. It is recommended that it should combine with other applications in the educational industry to improve performance evaluation.
