Chapter Chapter 33 in LTLGB 2012, 2013, pp 209-216 from Springer

Abstract: Abstract With the advocating of the low-carbon traffic and transportation concept, more and more urban residents choose urban mass as their main travel mode every day. At the same time, development in urban mass transit impels mass lines to a complicated mass network. Based on the urban mass network, this paper aims to discuss how to design and realize an Urban Mass Information Publishing System to mainly publish passenger flow guidance information including urban mass network state information, passenger flow controlling information, operation situation information of first and last train, emergency information, etc. According to the analysis of system business requirements, the system architecture is divided in three layers: presentation layer, business service layer and data layer. The function architecture is also designed based on the requirement analysis. Then we design the business flow and data organization of the system. Finally a demo system is realized as a case application.
