Abstract: Abstract According to the characters of logistics supports in the modern war, this paper puts forward the concept of modern logistics, analyzes the necessity for the application of information technology in the logistics, and also introduces several kinds of information technology which play an important role in the logistics system. Finally, the paper points out that we should enhance the research and application of advanced information technology in order to lay a solid technical foundation for promoting logistic support capability.
