Chapter Chapter 4 in Organization Design for International Construction Business, 2013, pp 59-86 from Springer
Abstract:
Abstract This chapter discusses the paradox between the repelling forces of depletion and discontinuities due to distance apart and the pulling forces of global-interconnectivity, as well as how the consequent clashes and its residue profoundly impinge on the interpretation of the international environment. The chapter aims to provide a succinct description of the fundamentals of internationalization models of trade and business, and explain how firms act when they venture overseas into markets abroad.
