Abstract:
Abstract Business strategies enable a firm to accentuate its strengths and attenuate its weaknesses. Without which, there is no focus and the firm may get lost in the business labyrinth. This chapter explains the linkages between internationalization, business strategies and organization structures. It also traces the roots, tracks the evolution and introduces the contemporary issues in business strategies and organization designs. In addition, it compares the different strategies and organization structures appropriate for different types of firms and suggests how these strategies and organization structures complement each other.
