Abstract: Abstract This paper takes the heritage conversation and sustainable land use in the central city as the research object, and combines theoretical research with field studies and successful cases as the research method to explore how to resolve some problems emerging in the central city, which is short of land, for example: how to ease the contradiction between the conservation of the heritage and sustainable use of land, how to adhere to the core concept of “the integration of use and conservation”, such as Establish accurate targets and core idea, Breakthrough the thinking of land uses, Distinguish the grade property of Land for the protection of cultural relics and etc.
