Abstract: Abstract On the basis of the 4,631 real estate papers in 1998~2009 from 524 journals included in CSSCI, this paper examines the trends of Chinese academic real estate research and then reviews hot topics in 2007~2009:real estate price and housing security. The results imply that Chinese academic real estate research have Chinese characteristics, but in terms of theory, need to be improved.
