Abstract:
Abstract This chapter is concerned with the subject of risk management and its component parts, risk management planning, risk identification, risk assessment, risk quantification, risk response development, and risk monitoring and control. Risk is present in any situation in which decisions must be made under constraint and uncertainty with imperfect information. To properly develop a project risk management plan, we should first understand the nature of “risk.”
