Abstract: Abstract Research and development (R&D) investment is an important index to measure the R&D activity scale and evaluate the innovation ability. Based on review of the theory of R&D intensity from scholars at home and abroad, the paper analyzes R&D intensity trend in China. GM (1, 1) model is used to simulate and predict future trend of China R&D intensity.
