Chapter Chapter 44 in The 19th International Conference on Industrial Engineering and Engineering Management, 2013, pp 427-437 from Springer

Abstract: Abstract In terms of the problems in power control in the CDMA system of the existing SIC, whether SIC is perfect or not should be considered first, i.e., whether there is error in channel estimation or judgment. Secondly, the multi-cell situation should also be considered with outer-cell interference no longer be assumed independent of the transmitted (received) power of users. In the context, the paper firstly derives the expressions for optimal power allocation in the decoding order; then puts forwards the optimal decoding order which can minimize the outage probability of the system for the restriction of transmitted (received) power of users, and finally deduces the optimal decoding order that can minimize the total transmitted power. The paper comes to the conclusion of being able to minimize the total transmitted power on the condition that the Eb/I requirements of users are met through simulation comparison of total transmitted power in different decoding orders.
