Abstract: Abstract General thinking is different from engineering thinking which based on the reality of individual and collective as main body, it found that the existence of objectives and the internal rules for the purpose of scientific logic thinking. Engineering thinking are engineers who look at the world and deal with problems way of thinking. It has the characteristic of nonlinear, the coordination of logic. The purpose of this article is based on the perspective and interpretation of engineering thinking of “A Plan for Education and Training Outstanding Engineers” (PETOE) to provide a new thinking way for engineering education reform.
